There is a comprehensive index on this link.
From: Mrs O. Phipps, telephone her on +44 (0)1923 823359 My gg grandfather Robert Capon married a Rosa Baldry at Walton (Suffolk) on 12 Jan 1820. One of the witnesses was an Elizabeth Baldry. Rosa appeared on the 1841 census but obviously died before the 1851. However, the 1841 does show a Rosa Baldry of 70 years living in Walton High Street. I have searched unsuccessfully for the birth of my Rosa and wondered if by any chance you could help me. Ken's comment: I have a Rose Baldrey of that date on this link. |
From: Gillian Fuller, telephone her on +44 (0)20 8462 1860 I was wondering if you had found Mary Baldry of Beccles who married Henry YOUNGMAN of Thetford by banns in Beccles on 17th January 1735. I am 'probably'a descendant of Henry Youngman, my maiden name was Youngman, and am really more interested in the father of Henry who could be a William but have no proof. |
From: Mike Haselip, e-mail him I am trying to trace his antecedents and decendents. Please look at my own web page on this link, where there is more information & a family tree, if you think you may be able to help me. |
From: Dafanie Goldsmith, e-mail her My gggg grandfather and mother were Joseph BENNETT and Amy BALDRY. I would be absolutely delighted if you could lead me to where - if - Amy may be in your family information.

From: Margaret Ede, e-mail her George was the illegitimate son of Mary Ann Flatman whose family can be traced at Gisleham. He used the names George Robert Flatman Baldry. He doesn't appear to be the son of George Baldry who married Esther Read, publican of the Rose and Crown, Upper Olland Street, Bungay but if you have any further information, I'd be very interested. |
From Malcolm Knight, e-mail him My grandfather's name was Gilbert Baldry. He would have been born circa 1900 and died in 1984 or 1985. He lived in Newhaven, Sussex, for as long as I can remember and used to be the captain of "The Brighton" cross-channel ferry between Newhaven and Dieppe. I understand he ran away to sea at the age of 14 and was on a hospital ship in World War 1. I don't know much about his family, but remember he had a sister who lived in Bath. He was my mother', Sylvia's father. Any information about Gilbert's ancestors would be appreciated.

From Richard Hodgson, e-mail him I am trying to get information on the ancestry of a common ancestor of myself and my wife, Sir Thomas Baldry, Lord Mayor of London 1523/4. I would be interested in any information on the ancestors (on male and female lines) of Elizabeth Baldry, born 1537 London, England, who married Robert Rich, 1st Baron Rich, and whose father was George Baldry of Hadley (or Hadleigh), Suffolk, and grandfather was Sir Thomas Baldry, Lord Mayor of London 1523. Any help gratefully received. Please e-mail Richard. |
From: Jenny Ellis-Newman, e-mail her Henry Baldry married Mary LEE on 24 Jun 1695 at Beccles St Michael. I am looking for his baptism between 1660-1680. Possible Henrys are Henry born 1662 in Framlingham and Henry born 1666 in Ilketshall. If anyone has details of the family of either could they please contact me. |
Contact: Ken Baldry but bear in mind that everything he finds out, he puts on the web |
