Thomas Baldry (b. abt 1812-15 married Rachel Liddamore in 1840 at Badingham, Suffolk |
From: Carrol Baldry Beasley e-mail her My great great grandfather was Thomas Baldry and he married Rachel Liddamore (sometimes spelt Lydamore) in 1840 at Badingham, Suffolk. Thomas was born about 1812 but in some census sheets this appears as 1815. When he married Rachel they were living at The Old Union Workhouse, Badingham, Suffolk. The brick wall I have hit is that on the wedding certificate, Thomas's father is shown as Edward Baldry but there are so many Edward Baldrys in the area. I cannot find an Edward Baldry and a Thomas together and I have no idea who Thomas's mother was. It could be that Thomas was illegitimate as I can't find any information on him. Can anyone help at all? Kind regards. Carrol Beasley |

Dorothy Heys married to William Baldry |
From: Emma Dowler e-mail her I'm hoping you can help me please? I'm trying to trace my maternal grandmother who disappeared during the second world war. It's a family mystery to why and where she went. Her maiden name was Dorothy Heys and I believe she married my grandad around 1935. His name is William James Baldry and I think he came from East Anglia. He was in the army at the time fighting in the war. What I need is more information to help me find Dorothy. Can you help please? |
Who is this possible Baldry? |
|
From: Carrol (Baldry) Beasley e-mail her The attached painting was found in the house of my deceased cousin Stanley James Baldry who lived in Peterborough and died recently. I am wondering if anyone has any idea who it might be. I am assuming it would be a family member but not really sure - there is no-one else to ask as I have no cousins within my line on the Baldry side now. Many thanks. Carrol Beasley (Baldry) |
