Grindelwald - 4 Winter

I have not skied from Grindelwald...

...but it is on the general Jungfrau Region ski-pass & these photos show the vast ski area on the Itramen side of the Mannlichen & I have certainly skied down to it. Grindelwald itself is in the lower middle distance. Its own ski area is beyond the black-looking mass of trees, middle-left. You can ski down to below the village: to Grund Station, about a one mile drop from the Mannlichen! Then, you get the train up to Kleine Scheidegg or the gondelbahn back to Mannlichen. There are more photos of the area covered by that pass on this site taken from Wengen & Mürren, although if you stay in Grindelwald to ski, it is not really practical to get over to Mürren.
