Xmas 2019 Canaries Cruise - Tenerife Page

Landfall at last & up earlier. Lovely day but the tours started late. We went on the Northern Tour we had done before, over the Anaga so-called mountain range to Taganana.

We went on the the 1km-ish high point, the Pico des Inglés (why English?), then down to La Laguna for wine & cheese tasting. Only just back in time for some lunch. Ken went into Santa Cruz to find an Internet café. He did find a café with a guy outside prepared to tell me how to get onto Vodaphone, password 12345678! There was a mock ski slope by the lake. There had been significant traffic improvements & closed roads along the front, presumably as it was Saturday.
