END OF AN ERA

Herbie Skeete has finally left Reuters, which was just cause for the biggest 'leaving do' Ken can remember. Everybody who was ever anybody (including, of course, himself) was there &, as so many had long left or been thrown out of Reuters, it had the character of a grand reunion. Ken promised & later, gave, Nick White a copy of his Reuter Diary, which probably guarantees that Nick will never speak to him again. John Parcell was there &, although he & Ken had been like rats in a sack, it did give Ken the opportunity to congratulate him on sodding off when Reuters would not make him Managing Director.
