In the direction of Athens from Piraeus
After the Cape Sounion trip, I skipped lunch & walked over the hill to the Old Port, took photos & walked back a different way.
Old Port of Piraeus looking East. This is the one Jason & the Argonauts etc sailed from.

I tried to get an attractive photo of Piraeus from the top deck but Piraeus is not attractive!

Then, I processed as many photos as I could before dinner. The evening’s entertainer was a rather amateurish singer & instrumentalist, who played a whole load of modern standards, Wild Rover, Loch Lomond, Sweet Caroline, West Virginia & Hey Jude, not singing very well. I carried on with my photos!
Saturday 29th October 2016 At sea
Clocks went back & will keep doing so! A moderate sea after so much calm. A port talk on Almeiria, a quite good one on the Vikings in the East &, in the afternoon, one by a lawyer, Paul Roach, where, even with my quite good brain, I had trouble keeping up & many people thought it was awful, although he was clearly on top of his subject. Then, a concert sung by Kevin & Cynthia McDonnell, old shipmates. Otherwise, I did my photos. The show team did well in the evening, despite Georgina twisting her ankle earlier, which meant they had to recast it for seven & the sea was a bit rough.
