Dikili for Pergamon on this link

Wednesday 26th October 2016

Close to Dikili, coming in

No one goes to Dikili for Dikili, unless they are a refugee from the crises largely sicked on the planet by juvenile America foreign policy. Back to Dikili after our tour of Pergamon, I went into the town for a few characteristic photos. No sign of any refugees & Lesbos (as in Greece & the Euro Union) looked rather far away because of the heat haze but the town there did not seem to have much missing because of the curvature of the Earth, suggesting that it was closer than it looks. In the evening, the show was Christopher Gee, a partly funny & partly irritating funny man, who made one completely out-of-order joke against Labour & Jeremy Corbyn, which I booed. He was selling his DVDs after, so I could not tick him off.
