Day Seven part Two - From Mulhouse (FR) back to Bad Herrenalb

Haslach

From Haslach, we went to Zell & up the Harmersbach, like several of these valleys, with a steep top over, in this case, At Oberharmersbach, we filled up the car, E40. South of Oppenau, where we turned up the Lierbach to the Allheiligen Falls, which, like those at Triberg, were more of a cascade. This road came out on the Schwarzwalder Hochstrasse to Baden-Baden, with amazing views, especially to the West, as it is really quite high. Eventually, this became the familiar road from Neuweier, which we followed again to Bad Herrenalb. There, we booked in to the Hotel Kühlen Brunnen, family Pfeiffer, at about 1900, which would be cheaper than the Treff (where we got the Internet rate before). We had a wander into the town again & beers in the hotel. These were very good but put Avis to sleep.
