There was thus, a Pro-EU March from Downing Street to the EU Office in Smith Square. This was mainly to support each other in our hour of despair. Ken was singing the Ode to Joy in German with another guy who knew it. Jeers of ‘Shame on You ’ came from the moronic mass, which was actually, rather small. Even so, the police wanted us to go home, not the fascists. We replied to the mob, ‘You won. Get over it’. The indefatigable but recently missing Madeleina Kay was there, wearing angel wings. Ken was interviewed by Japanese TV &, among much else, said we would never forgive them for this. Outside the European Union Office, three cars that had driven from Brussels in solidarity pulled up.
