Music Appreciation

A series of lectures illustrated by musical examples & copious slides, which take place on the:-

2nd Thursday in 2015 (programme below) at 11:30am in the

Upper Hall (1st floor) at the Claremont Project, White Lion Street
(near the Angel junction)

Just turn up - there is plenty of room & Claremont members who are not IU3A members are also welcome.
These talks are followed by the Modern Art Movements talks on this link that start at 12:15pm.

This series of audio-visual shows started with Haydn, then following the lives & works of other important composers up to Shostakovich in the 20th century, interspersed with themed shows, such a "The History of Italian Opera" & "The Faust Legend in Music".
