Theoretically, the next stage of the walk from Ardaz is to go over the Vereina Pass to Klosters. This is too far for one day, especially as the previous day is likely to have been arduous. It would be time for a half-day stroll along the road up the Inn to Susch, being a better place to start the Vereina Pass walk anyway, if you want to walk to Klosters in one day. This takes about three hours, which I have done. The Inn comes from the South here, then goes round a big bend near Lavin to the North-East. To go to the hut from Lavin, go down into the village, as the path is not accesible from the by-pass, see below about the hut. There are two hotels in Susch. In 2011, from Susch I thumbed lifts to Pontresina & had a holiday.

However, on the way to Klosters is the Berghaus Vereina & this is a way to split the long pass walk into two, starting the day from Ardez. Note that I have not done this & have no first-hand information yet. I intended to do this on 25/6/013, as my 70th birthday celebration trip.
