After the early death of his wife in 1809, Ephraim must have lived with his dau. Mary Ann for the remainder of his life, and in the 1840s they all moved to Harlem (now Rockford) IL, which is where all, Ephraim, Ryal & Mary Ann are buried.

What has become of the descendants of the above children of Ephraim, and more specifically of the nine children of Ryal Justus Merryfield and Mary Ann Palmer?

Esther Merryfield Robb, prob. b. ca. 1870s, grand dau. of 4. did much genealogy, and about 1930 she was living in Rocky Ford, CO., and submitted the above info to PFIA, citing her source as "Family Bible." I do not know if this is a Merryfield or Palmer family bible. She also had some corresp. with my grandfather, Walter B. Palmer, around that time. I would like to locate her descendants, or anyone descended from the above children. She must have had extensive notes; what became of them, and of the bible?
