Portsmouth Harbour to the West from the ship

Portsmouth & sunny at first but not for long. The tours were rubbish from our point of view, although I took these photos from the ship. I managed just soup for lunch in the interest of weight loss (?).

I am reading “The Dinner Guest” by B P Walter, which is intriguing, as well as doing bits of Euro-history talks. There has been no free internet from the ports, so they look scrappy. We joined the others for dinner, oxtail for me. Gordon Cree was back in the Neptune Lounge & included his wife, an opera singer.
