Another day entirely at sea. It was clear & we had views of the Rost Islands but nothing else except water all day.

The Rost Islands

We were still sailing when we went to breakfast but soon moored at Alesund.

Unfortunately, it was a somewhat wet day, so the relatively high temperature of 7°C was mitigated by Damp. The courier on our coach thought it was really cold. There was still some snow around, which they would not normally expect but this has been an exceptional winter everywhere. She took us to Borgund, just outside & clearly, an enchanting spot in good weather. Apart from the church, there was a boat museum.

Then, we went up the hill above the park, which has the classic view of Alesund (left). A trip round the art nouveau buildings completed the tour but it did not stop (too much traffic in Alesund), so after lunch, we went for a walk, as the drizzle was very light & I took a lot of photos of buildings, although we were back by 3.
