Quedlinburg

Quedlinburg was a real treat, as it seemed undamaged since the Middle Ages. It had been the capital of the Holy Roman Empire until the mid-10th Century, which is why Ken wanted photos of it. We stayed for 2 nights in the Castle Mill Hotel under the spectacular Stiftskirche, wandered round the city in the evenings & made an excursion to Eisleben on our full day.
