Xmas Cruise 2013 - Copenhagen-Tivoli Page |
Friday 27th December
Avis thought we could walk down to Tivoli via the Little Mermaid, which was true but she under-estimated the distance. We did stop for hot chocolate in a department store in Strojet (€70) for a rest.

It was €190 for two to get into Tivoli and we had a good look round, many of the buildings having changed since 1998.

We had lunch in the Paulanler Pub, German sausage but Earl Grey tea - DK158 for two. (The girl spoke English but not German).

Another walk & we took the 26 bus back. WARNING! Although I had told the driver we wanted Langelinie, he took us the other way all round the docks, so one needs to make sure one has the correct 26 bus. (Duh!) We got out at the end of Indiakai and walked back to the ship. While it was the same temperature as yesterday and we even had some sunshine, the stronger wind made it a lot colder. |
