All along the Mediterranean Cruise - Limassol |
Panorama of Limassol on leaving
An iffy half-day, weatherise. Limassol was a lot tidier than Turkey, though. We went on a coach trip up Troodos, in mist of various qualities, stopping at a designer tourist trap they called Troodos Square for coffee.

On the way back, at a manicured village called Omodos where we did a wine tasting of rough red, a sweet dessert wine called Commanderia & a well-named firewater. This place reminded me of Minster Lovell, Greek-style. Much Autumn colour

The boat left after lunch. In the Neptune Lounge, the ship's orchestra tried to swing, without success, as the soloists were reading from scores. Proper jazz men don't do that, especially other people's breaks.
